A lot has happened lately leading to my lack of updates, my job has been crazy and I’ve moved into my own flat! :) It’s full of thrifted things of course :) I’ll be updating a lot more now that I’m getting internet in my little house ~~
I’ve been super busy these few weeks with training and now officially working as an assistant manager of Age UK :) I went thrifting in Newcastle today (it’s my day off for the week!) so I will finally be able to upload something!
- People will go through a lot of effort to steal things from charity shops
- Duck vibrators are not classed as toys
So during my hour lunch break on Monday, I had a snoop around the charity shops in Newcastle and I have to say, I’m incredibly impressed!! This jacket was one of my purchases that day :)
Ted Baker jacket ~~~ 6.50 from Douglas Macmillan
I decided on seeing this that it is my “manager jacket” that I will wear to work. I feel as if it fits me well, on the outside it is professional looking whereas inside it is cute :)
I’m being trained in the Age UK in Newcastle-Under-Lyme so that means….riding the busss *insert Inbetweeners joke*
Alright guys, I am going to do a personalized paper silhouette of the winner of the giveaway, I will even frame it and mail it to you free of charge! :) You can choose either a white silhouette on a black background or a black silhouette on a white background. Here are the rules:

Good luck guys! ~~~
I got my call back today and I start Monday, so super happy and excitedddd!!!! :)
I got this wonderful vintage dress ages ago but it was about an inch below my knee so I decided to buy it (from Salvation Army) and find someone who could alter it for me. There is this lovely lady that works in the Costa coffee who is a regular at my Age UK shop who said that she would love to do it for me :)
I just love it now that it has been altered and I’m going to wear when I volunteer next to show it off :) The bow on the pocket was what sold it to me originally ~~
A few thrifted bits and bobs from the past few days :) I got:
A brand new Snow White tee with the tags still on ~~ 99p from Age UK
A 101 Dalmatians (tea) mug ~~ 50p from RSPCA charity shop
A frilly New Look top ~~ 2.99 from RSPCA charity shop
I wish my sisters would charity shop with me because when I go shopping with them, all I do is window shop and pine over the charity shops and their goodies that I am missing in Hanley!
